Eline Rafteseth

Eline Rafteseth is a bass player and composer from Vestnes in Møre og Romsdal, living in Bergen. In 2018, she completed her bachelor's degree in Jazz at the Grieg Academy and in 2022–2023 she was active part of the mentor programme Borealis Ung Komponist. She has won Jazz i Sikte, and has distinguished herself as a bass player at events such as Framtida i Norsk jazz, Vill Vill Vest, Eurosonic Noorderslag and Jazzintro. Eline is an active musician in the contemporary music scene in Bergen, being a part of bands such as Shakai, Nh3 and Mads Berven & Excellent Lagoon, as well as running the concert series Playdate at Landmark.
