Once again, the composition department of the Grieg Academy stages a «Springboard Borealis» - an "opening before the opening". As in 2009, the city's distinctive rooms and buildings are inspiration for both composition and performance. This year, the Altona wine bar at Hotel Augustin is the chosen venue, these old and humble surroundings - with members of the audience seated around small tables - creating a warm and intimate concert setting.
